Hello! I am Marcos (Mark) Rubim and I have been in English language teaching since 1992.

I have taught General English, Business English, English for Exams, Content and Language Integrated Learning - CLIL (Geography, History, Mathematics, English Literature and Science), Brazilian Portuguese and Italian in language and mainstream schools in England, Italy and Brazil, as well as in companies.

As a teaching supervisor I was responsible for the FCE and CAE courses, material design, the development of course syllabi, the development process for language teachers, creating and delivering training sessions and workshops, creating and applying placement tests and interviews in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for languages (CEFR), providing students with professional guidance and tutorials.

I am CELTA (Cambridge University) qualified, holder of the Oxford Higher Certificate and the Certificate of Proficiency in English issued by the University of Michigan.

In addition to that, I did my further studies in English language teaching at Hammersmith & West London College, and before that my graduation programmes in English Language Teaching and Business Management from the University of Sorocaba.
